Description
Dame Hilary Mary Mantel is an English writer who has twice been awarded the Booker Prize, the first for the 2009 novel “Wolf Hall” a fictional account of Thomas Cromwell’s rise to power in the court of Henry VIII, and the second for the 2012 novel “Bring Up the Bodies” the second installment of the Cromwell trilogy. Why is she such a successful writer? Mantel claims, “Show up at the desk is one of the first rules of writing.” For those associates and colleagues who show up at their desk day in and day out and complete great work, reward their efforts with our Black Mantel Clock. This beautiful timepiece has a smooth black piano finish and measures 7.5″ x 4.5″. The clock’s white face has silver accents and Roman numerals mark each hour. We provide an engraving plate for personalization too. Our graphic design department will engrave up to three lines of text on the clock. Our Black Mantel Clock (item T304) also makes a great retirement gift for those who made it to their desk for decades!
