The Pantheon, located in Rome, Italy, is one of the best-preserved of all Ancient Roman buildings. The building is circular with a portico of eight large granite Corinthian columns with two groups of four behind under a pediment. These sturdy columns have stood the test of time for over 2,000 years. This beautiful timepiece has two silver columns that support a rosewood top piece, and they surround a rosewood slab which suspends the clock. Roman numerals mark each hour on the clock’s white face.
